Winter coats.



Last week there was an oil spillage off the New Zealand coast line, so people have knitted jumpers for penguins to keep them from being intoxicated by the oil when they clean themselves. 



When i was younger in textiles class we knittedwolly jumpers for battery hens who had been realeased from the barns, but had had all the feathers pecked off, so to keep them warm we knitted them jumpers.
